falling awake

This is a request from Mkali, of her lovely character Witchgrass! She wanted something calm, and after trying with several different background/horse combinations, I came across this background and instantly took a liking to it. And, well, I've always loved ~GloomWriter's pictures of Cochise so I wanted to use him if at possible

It's simple, but I really like it. Spots were borrowed from another horse to match the colouring described and overall I think it turned out rather well Not 100% sure about the shadow... thoughts?
